From a Hobby to a Brand
What started as a personal crafting hobby in 2017 grew into something bigger as word spread about Cara Tantoco’s handcrafted Rosette Leis. After the COVID-19 interruption, Cara rebuilt and formalized the business — registering with both the DTI and BIR — and grew Letrato into a brand serving families, schools, corporate clients, and government agencies nationwide.
Today, Cara personally oversees every aspect of the business: design, material sourcing, production, quality control, and client communication. Whether it’s a single piece for a personal milestone or hundreds for an institutional event, every order gets the same handcrafted standard.
Why Rosette Leis
Giving a lei is a Filipino tradition rooted in honoring, welcoming, and celebrating people. The traditional flower lei is beautiful, but temporary.
Cara started the concept of the Rosette Lei in the Philippines — a handcrafted alternative that carries the same spirit, but is built to last. That vision drives everything we make: celebration accessories that are meaningful enough to keep long after the event.
